Do you need a neurologist and family doctor?

Outpatient care by a neurologist or family doctor colleagues is the foundation for continuous case close to your home. We therefore recommend close contact with your doctor who has usually arranged the referral to our outpatient clinic. It should be stressed that regular attendance at our outpatient clinic at intervals of 3 months is no “substitute“ for family doctor care or neurology outpatient follow up. It is not possible for our clinic to act as a general practice and this is not intended. We see ourselves as partners of specialist and family doctor colleagues in a serious and at the same time relatively rare neurological disease. Care in our clinic should be regarded as a consultation provided in addition to the care of your neurologist and family doctor.
